The run off is in full swing and some big barra action is already happening!
The big tides are firing with big barras on the chew at some of our favorite sport. Last week we took the boys fishing and landed three beauties at 90cm, 102cm and 105cm.
The neap tides are a lucky dip at the mouth of Tommycut for big barra but there is still good barra action to be had. Threadfin Salmon are also on the bite with some good size ones being landed.
The jewies are chewing hard with a one-hour session producing six nice fish. Christine France from the Gold Coast landed her biggest ever fish, an impressive 29-pound jewfish on our last tour.
We are heading out again tomorrow for a four day safari and the tides are starting to build into springs so stay tuned for some big barra action in our next report.
