When David and Mark from Melbourne first contacted me they simply wanted to land a Top End barra. Little did they realize that they were going to live the dream that many Territorians strive for years to achieve, catching a meter barra.

Kev Walker is a local and was one of those Territorians. As a keen angler, Kev decided to join Anglers Choice for a few days run off fishing on board our 72 foot mothership Cape Adieu with the sole aim of joining the meter barra club.

We fished the mouth of the Mary, only 2 minutes from the mothership, and racked up 6 barra over a meter in one session, not to mention double figures of barra in the 90 100cm bracket.
Several wicked sessions on the reefs saw many double and triple hook ups on 30-pound jewfish. This had to be seen to be believed.
The jewfish in this region are monsters and pull like road trains. Check out these beauties! www.anglerschoice.com.au

Hi Mick and Emma,
I thought I should drop you a small letter of appreciation for the enjoyment that Dave and myself had over the past four days.
To say that the trip exceeded our wildest dreams would be an understatement. The professionalism, expert tuition and not to mention great humour and comradeship provided by Mick and his support staff on both board Kiahlua and whilst out on the water fishing would, I think be, second to none within your industry.
I can only say that from the first point of contact regarding our tour and itinerary until to the fond farewell of newfound friends the choice to charter the services of Anglers Choice Fishing Safaris was not only made easy but also a pleasure. You can be assured that any potential clients that we know will be provided with glowing recommendations from both Dave and myself and I am equally certain that it will only be a matter of time until we also return to undertake another charter, and this time there is only one obvious choice, Anglers Choice.
Best regards
