Anglers' Choice Fishing Safaris

Fishing Reports:

Fishing Report: 24 - 25 April 2005. There is more than barra on the Mary River!

Steve and the crew were headed to Kakadu for a five day barra safari when the barra decided they did not want to play the game. Shady Camp is a convenient 90 minute drive away, so we packed up camp and moved location to chase some big black jewfish instead. The move paid off and not long after dropping anchor the lads landed some nice sized jewies using the traditional cocktail of squid and pilchards. Jewies are plenty of fun but you have to really feel for that suck suck suck – and when you feel it – you have to give it heaps to sink the hook.

“From the first time I spoke to Emma from Angler’s Choice I knew we were going to have a trip of a life time. The service was number one and the trip was one that I will never forget. This was my first time fishing with Anglers Choice and also my first trip to Darwin and we left every thing in Anglers Choice hands to organize and what a job they did. The accommodation was the best and the only thing we had to do was FISH FISH FISH and fish we did

You are doing a great job so keep it up. Our tour guide ZATCH was one of the BEST guides we ever had and we gave him TEN out of TEN for the time and effort he put in our trip and we say thank u to ZATCH from all of us AGAIN. We did not join the metre club this year but there is next year and we hope to see you then.

Thank you Angler’s Choice for an unforgettable 5 days fishing at Kakadu and for us there is just one choice we will ever make and that’s giving Emma another call”

THANK YOU!
Steve Mallia
