Sport Fishing Boats

Anglers Choice operates two 7.7m Southwind fiberglass boats in Northern Territory 2C Survey for up to 15 nautical miles offshore. Both vessels have centre consoles and small shade bimini allowing full 360degress fishing platform. Powered by twin Yamaha 115hp 4 stroke outboards, they are ideal for river fishing and handle offshore conditions exceptionally well. The boats have state of the art navigational equipment, HF and VHF radios and all necessary safety equipment. Clients receive a full safety prior to departure on all charters

Dundee Hire Boats

Anglers Choice has two 4.55m Polycraft boats available for hire from Dundee Beach boat ramp. The boats are fitted with Yamaha 50hp 4 stroke outboards. The boats include Lowrance color GPS / Sonar (loaded with local hotspots, navigational routes and aids), folding shade canopy, cushioned seats, esky and landing net. The boats are in survey for four people and carry all necessary safety gear.

Hire boat fees include one tank of fuel and tractor launch and retrieve at boat ramp.

Boats are available for half day hire 7am – 12noon or 1pm – 6pm. Cost: $150
Full day charter is from 7am – 5pm Cost $250
Extended rates are available.

Tractor
We own our own tractor exclusively for our fishing charters and hire boats which means no waiting and delays at the boats ramp and flexibility in fishing times.

Fishing Tackle

Anglers Choice has been using Wilson Live Fibre fishing rods for the past 6 years and can rate them as the best rod for performance, durability and value for money.

Barra Fishing
We use Wilson Live Fibre Territory Barra 6kg rods.
We use Daiwa or Shimano overhead reels with 20lb - 30lb braid.

Bluewater Fishing
We use 8-10kg Wilson Live Fibre Texalium rods.
We use LTD15 overhead reels with 50lb - 80lb braid.

Safety

Your safety and comfort are our priority at Anglers' Choice. We carry a full first aid kit in all vehicles and boats;

• life jackets;
• flares;
• EPIRB; and
• full communications including VHF radio and satellite telephone.

At the commencement of every tour our clients receive a safety and equipment briefing demonstrating how equipment works.
